Fleet Concepts Inc was formed in July 1989, to market backhaul capabilities of private fleets. Since our personnel come from both the shipper side and the carrier side, we have extensive experience in transportation and logistics and a greater understanding of the needs of both our customers and our carrier partners.

 

Concentrating on general dry freight, with an emphasis on consumer products, Fleet Concepts has developed a reputation for on-time performance and personalized service. In addition, we found that it became very important to include warehousing services into our mix so we could achieve complete point to point control. As we grew, we expanded our service offering to include flatbeds and temperature controlled vans.

 

The new millennium brought forth several new challenges. Y2K concerns and the events surrounding 9/11 required Fleet Concepts Inc to become even more flexible in meeting the needs of our customers. When coupled with the contraction in the trucking industry as a whole and the substantial increases in fuel and other operating costs for our carrier partners, we have moved our sourcing objectives to gaining dedicated equipment. This will mean that we will have equipment available when others might not.

 

Offering total transportation and warehouse services, Fleet Concepts Inc can act as a full time traffic department so that our customers do not need to hire additional staff. Our customers soon grow accustomed to the personalized service of which we are proud. Personalized service means getting the right kind of equipment, at the right time, for the right price.
